Salisbury FAQs

When hiring a unit, Storage Factory requires two forms of identification. These include a form of photo ID, such as a passport, driving licence or ID card, and a recent utility bill, bank statement or other official correspondence dated within the last three months. Uniformed personnel will also need to bring the relevant ID to benefit from the 10% discount. If you are unable to provide the required ID please contact Storage Factory directly.

The minimum storage period is 1 week, there is no maximum storage period.

Yes, one week's notice is required to cancel any storage contract.

Any unused days will be refunded to you providing you have given us one week's notice to cancel your contract.

Yes, a 10% discount will be applied to the monthly unit rent.

You can cancel your contract by providing one week's notice, given by email, by letter or by telephone. Please include your name, unit number and cancellation date when giving notice.

We want our customers to have complete confidence that their possessions are being kept safe and secure 24 hours a day. To ensure this, we have installed only the best CCTV from Hikvision and each storage unit is individually alarmed and monitored. Each customer is given a secure PIN granting 24/7 access only to customers of Storage Factory.

We advise that you take out insurance. Your existing home contents insurance policy may cover items in storage; alternatively there are companies who provide cover for storage settings. Proof of cover must be presented to us before storing your belongings.

No deposit is required. We just ask that you pay for the first month's rent. Payment can be made on, or prior to, the date of move in but no later.

We have a variety of packaging items to suit your storage needs, from boxes to bubble wrap. Please see our packaging page or come and see us at reception to view the range.

Your unit will require a padlock to ensure your belongings are secure. You can buy these directly from us, otherwise you are welcome to bring your own.

We operate with 24/7 access. You will need your secure PIN to be able to access the site and your unit at all times.

The first month's rent can be paid in cash or by debit card. A direct debit agreement form will then need to be completed for regular monthly payments thereafter, and we will need you to provide us with your account number and sort code.

We offer the following sizes: 10 sq ft, 25 sq ft, 35 sq ft, 50 sq ft, 75 sq ft, 100 sq ft, 125 sq ft, 150 sq ft and 200 sq ft. We also have limited availability of units in-between these sizes. Please enquire if you are looking for a size that we have not listed.
